Seville
Flamenco + Dinner
Description
The history of flamenco dates back to the 18th century, mainly across the provinces of so-called Lower Andalusia, spreading faster in cities with seaports, which is why Seville has been one of the most important areas since the origins of flamenco.
During the 19th century, this early flamenco was introduced by the Roma people, who brought with them part of Indian culture and blended it with the already rich Andalusian folklore of the local people and with Muslim and Castilian culture… creating a cultural mix unique in the world.
In 2010 UNESCO declared Flamenco an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
We will step into a tablao where anything is possible: the cry of the guitar begins, weeping for distant things, crystal lamps and green mirrors. Long trained dresses (batas de cola) sway, fans open and close, heels strike the tables… The scent of flamenco, the taste of Andalusia, the taste of the Moorish guitar, purity, heart and strength.
After this breathtaking show, we will enjoy a delicious dinner with fantastic views: on one side the Cathedral, on the other Las Setas, the city’s most innovative monument. And all of this “in the heart of Seville”.

A show created by Sandra Guerrero “La Negra”, a Sevillian dancer with more than 30 years' experience, together with internationally renowned artists and new flamenco talent. We will step into a tablao where anything is possible: the guitar begins to weep, crying for distant things, crystal lamps and green mirrors. Long trains of dresses sway, fans open and close, heels strike the tables, sevillanas, tientos, marianas, tarantas, tonás, light, peteneras, soleás, seguidillas, all the cante of Levante, all the cante of the mines, all the cante. The aroma of flamenco, the Andalusian taste of the Moorish guitar, purity, guts and passion. And while you enjoy the best flamenco show in Seville, you can have a cocktail.
